Hi! I’m Mel Rojas—better known as KhuniUwU—a Mexican-Spanish Game Design student entering my final year of university.I specialize in Rigging, 3D Modeling, and creating Renders on blender.I am a creative person who is never satisfied with something that is merely acceptable.
When I work, I immerse myself completely in it until it comes to life.
I’m highly adaptable, curious, and always hungry to learn more—I truly believe everything is possible with patience and perseverance.💡 My goal is to break into the industry as a junior Rigger, 3D Modeler, or Game Designer, but I’m open to any creative opportunity that helps me grow.I’m currently based in Girona, but I’m fully open to opportunities in Barcelona, Europe and beyond.Outside of work, I am a big fan of musicals and robotics (although I have put that world aside for the moment), and one day I would like to combine that in a video game.

This project was developed for my university’s Narrative course.
I wanted to explore something deeply personal: the weight of a lifelong depression rooted in the absence of answers. A late diagnosis opened my eyes, helping me realize that I simply see the world from a different perspective.
🕹️ The result is a narrative-driven game set inside an elevator, where each floor represents a descent into different aspects of the human mind. It’s a journey through emotion, self-discovery, and the hidden corners of identity.

I’ll Be by Your Side is a narrative-driven platformer that introduces a novel approach: integrating deep storytelling within the platforming genre. The result is a game where mechanics and narrative work together to deliver an emotional experience.The first version was created during Woman Game Jam 2025, but the final release was redesigned and illustrated by me —including the menu, the Itch.io page, and the memory collectibles. I also acted as the gameplay designer and overall game designer, defining the core mechanics, flow, and narrative direction of the project.Other team members contributed to shaping the general narrative concept, composing the menu music (while I directed which pieces would best fit the tone of the game through an exhaustive selection process), and providing support during the prototyping phase.I was supported by Aketzali Flores, who handled sound balancing and bug fixing. For the visuals, we used curated tilesets from Itch.io, ensuring a cohesive and polished aesthetic.🌙 The story was inspired by the theme of reincarnation and a Mexican legend that says animals can give their life for you—blending cultural heritage with personal creativity to create a meaningful experience.

✨🐺 Wolf Season is a strategy game where the wolf is the good guy, tasked with gathering enough evidence to convince the hunter of the truth.In this project I was responsible for the rigs of the main characters: the hunter, the wolf, the grandmother, and Little Red Riding Hood.
I also configured the Liltoon shader and managed physics with MagicaCloth in Unity.
Additionally, I handled the map design, prop placement, and the strategy behind trap positioning —making sure the challenge was engaging without overwhelming the player.

✨In this project, I worked on the 3D modeling of the room in Blender together with my teammate Vocero.
I created the hand-painted textures directly in Blender, giving the scene a unique finish.
Finally, I prototyped the room in Unreal Engine 5 and set up the lighting to enhance atmosphere and visual coherence.

✨🌟 My Biggest Ongoing Project
This is the most important project I’ve worked on so far. I started learning back in March 2021 through Fiverr, and now I work on the VGen platform, which has become a key source of income in my life — especially this year. What began as a simple hobby has evolved into a solid set of professional skills.
I collaborate with people who want to bring their VTuber avatars to life or with developers looking for characters for their games. I work with all kinds of files: creating rigs, fixing optimization issues, solving general and texture problems, and ensuring smooth performance.I also create ARKit blendshapes and configure everything so clients are fully ready to use their avatars seamlessly.
